Planned Giving

The Planned Giving Ministry of First Baptist Church of Norfolk
plays a special role in helping to build a lasting Christian legacy at First Baptist by helping people put the church in their will or by participating in a variety of deferred giving opportunities. Planned gifts and bequests, when they become available for use by the church, will fund a long-term endowment that permanently supports the church's mission and ministries.

The chief benefit of planned gifts is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you have put "first things first" by providing for the long- term welfare of your family and your church. The Planned Giving Ministry is dedicated to supporting and encouraging this important Christian witness. The Planned Giving Ministry Trustees makes available professional gift and estate planning services and informative seminars.

The Planned Giving Ministry offers a variety of ways to leave a lasting Christian legacy, save taxes, benefit your heirs, and even increase your current income all through tax-wise gift and estate planning. We invite you to put "first things first" by contacting the church's Planned Giving Ministry at (757) 461-3226, ext. 243
