Wednesdays at First
Becoming Missionary Followers of Jesus

Our Wednesday evening activities have been re-organized and the schedule improved to focus our efforts on discipleship.  Believing that Jesus was crystal clear when He gave his final instructions to go into all the world and make disciples, we have clarified the purpose of our Wednesday evening events to strategically focus on the task of Disciple making - or making missionary followers of Jesus.

Thursday is usually a school and work day! Being sensitive to your family's needs we have scheduled these activities from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m so you have the opportunity to experience
Wednesdays at First and be able to get your family home earlier in the evening.

COMMUNITIES OF HOPE
6-7:30 p.m.    Leader: Phillip Herring        Room 308
The HOPE is an 8-week journey of discovery.  The means of our discovery will be the simple act of examining stories about God’s interaction with man.  The emphasis of our study will be twofold:  (1) we will discover truths about God and man in the stories; and (2) every week we’ll answer the question, “So what?”, making simple connections between the discovered truths and practical life application.  Participants will be equipped by the end of this course to lead this same study in their home or workplace.

LEADING BEYOND OUR WALLS
