We believe that the Bible has something to say to us today. Each week 6th-12th grade students gather together to discover God's plan for their life. As students come in they break into LIFEgroups by their grade. Each age group is led by adult Student Ministry leaders who are passionate about God and His power to guide us in life. You never know what will happen in LIFEgroup so don't miss it! Studies are presented in a relaxed atmosphere and coupled with church-wide worship services. Join us this Sunday!
Please enter the building at the East entrance or from the lobby. A Red banner will indicate the student entrance.
We utilize "Explore the Bible" curriculum on Sunday mornings because we want students to do just that - explore The Bible! Our LIFEgroup time is dynamic and purposeful in helping your student make their faith their own. During the Fall, we will be studying some of the minor prophets: Hosea, Amos, Jonah, and Micah. Each student who comes to LIFEgroup is equipped with a daily discipleship guide, and trained how to to use it. If your student faithfully attends LIFEGroup & Sunday Night Studentz from 6th - 12th grade, they will be able to say they have READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE BIBLE by the time they graduate! .
Bring your appetite and your friends to hear our guest speaker Pastor Mack, President & CEO of 1Died4All. Born out of Trinity Church in Virginia Beach, 1Died4All uses the platform of sports to reach kids that might never walk through the doors of a church, but they will come to a sports camp. At the camp, they hear the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.
This year at Dare 2 Share LIVE, teens will hear the powerful call from Acts 1:8 to be Christ’s witnesses across the street, across the tracks and around the world. To answer that call, students must first understand where that power and anointing comes from, that when they are drenched with the Spirit of God, in the power of God, for the mission of God, they will change the world. Free lunch, sign up below.
You will notice that there is a “Z” in the name. This is not a typo - The “Z” is for Generation “Z”. We fully believe that THIS GENERATION is rising up to make a difference in the 7-cities of Hampton Roads, our nation and world!
Anxiety can be debilitating, crippling, and stifling. How do we get victory over it? What does the Bible have to say about how to practically combat and overcome its power over us in the day to day? In this series, students will learn that they are not alone when it comes to facing anxiety and many great people of faith in the Bible struggled with this too. Thankfully, fear & anxiety doesn't have to write your story - God can, if you let Him! In this 4 week series - see how real people, had real problems, and overcame the power of anxiety through hearing the voice of God, Jesus calming their seas, recieving wise counsel from a friend, and by choosing what is better.
