We want learning about God to be fun and exciting!  We welcome children, grades 1-5, to join us each Sunday in a grade level LIFEgroup where they will:

  • Be greeted by friendly, nurturing, and encouraging leaders;
  • Learn, through Bible study, how to apply God’s word into their lives;
  • Grow a loving and lasting relationship with Jesus;
  • Create friendships with others.

It is our desire to share God’s love with every child to a point where they will choose to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

To ensure the security and safety of each child we use the security check-in system Checkpoint. Parents will be directed to a kiosk to check-in their child. They will receive a name badge  for the child and a parent badge, which will show a new and unique matching number each week for security purposes. First time guests please sign-in at the Children’s Desk.

Books of the Bible | Kempsville Location, Room 220 | 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Books of the Bible is a fun, high-energy Bible study that teaches kids the books of the Bible and what each book is about! Each week kids will enjoy a Bible lesson, crafts, scripture memory, games and much more! Questions: or 802-9516.

We desire for every child to have a place where they can learn about God’s love and where families can worship and serve. We ask that parents register their child so that we may know best how to meet their needs. We use combinations of an orientation, short-term pull out class, and integration of special needs children into the existing LIFEgroups with ‘buddies.'

A support group for all parents with special needs children. Join us for encouragement and community.

Meets Tuesday mornings 10 AM. Kempsville Location, Room 311.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL,  June 22-26, 2020

Look up—way up. That’s where we’re headed. Where I-beams float effortlessly high overhead, carefully guided into place by powerful machinery. Where steel and glass converge in a colossal design that appears to almost touch the sky. These magnificent structures were elaborately designed and intricately built. Yet they all began the same way—with concrete and cranes, rivets and rebar, bulldozers and backhoes; and most importantly, a solid foundation. This summer, kids will grab their hard hats and head out to the construction site to discover that skyscrapers aren’t the only things that need a rock solid foundation.  If you have questions, please contact the Children's Ministry at or 802-9516.
