All senior adults are invited to meet each month on the first (sometimes the second) Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Each month, we spend time in the Word, pray together, hear from interesting speakers, fellowship, sing, and occasionally have a special feature. The program (including lunch) is $8 by reservation. The Senior Adult Council meets at 12:45 PM on the same day. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (757) 300.2462. Details below.
The Gospel in the Passover
Passover is an ancient Hebrew feast, celebrated annually,
commemorating the rescue and deliverance of the children of Israel from 400
years of slavery in Egypt. Join us as we journey through the specific elements
of Passover to discover how they show us God’s plan for our deliverance. Pastor Phillip
Herring has served on the pastoral staff at First Norfolk since the fall of
1998. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor for Education. Now in his
24th year, his passion for relational disciple-making is greater than ever. In addition to
overseeing all Women’s Ministry LIFEgroups as a volunteer at First Norfolk, Jan
Herring works as a Marketplace Chaplain with Marketplace Ministries out of the
Dallas, TX area. Together, they
have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and one 6 month old grandson - Emmett
