All senior adults are invited to meet each month on the first (sometimes the second) Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Each month, we spend time in the Word, pray together, hear from interesting speakers, fellowship, sing, and occasionally have a special feature. The senior adult council meets at 12:45 PM on the same day. Lunch can be purchased for $8 by reservation. Contact us at seniors@firstnorfolk.org or (757) 300.2462. Details below.
Frank Cubillo is a local Frank Sinatra Tribute Singer/Entertainer who will be performing a vocal presentation of Frank Sinatra’s hits including one from Sinatra’s 1955 movie “Young at Heart” in tribute to our group. A Native of Brooklyn, NY, Frank served 38 years on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps and retired in VA Beach in 2009, forming his singing/entertaining business as a “second” career. He has appeared with the Tidewater Winds Orchestra at the Sandler Center and performed in many other venues throughout Hampton Roads. Frank knows and can sing (by heart) over 400 songs, mostly recorded by Sinatra but also by Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darrin, Michael Bublé and Sammy Davis Jr. Visit his website: franksingsfrank.com and Facebook page to find photos, videos, and his public schedule.
