All senior adults are invited to meet each month on the first Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Each month, we spend time in the Word, pray together, hear from interesting speakers, fellowship, sing, and occasionally have a special feature. The senior adult council meets at 12:45 PM on the same day. A picnic lunch outside under the bridge can be purchased for $6 by reservation. Contact us at seniors@firstnorfolk.org or (757) 300.2462. Registration for the June meeting opens soon.
From the vocal group Fond Memories
We sing simply because we love to share our music with others, and hope that our voices and melodies bring “Fond Memories” to those who listen. Our “Three Tenors” will provide an array of music from the 50’s and 60’s Rock & Roll decades … music that gets the heart pumping or can melt the heart in a minute! A few Patriotic tunes will be added to the mix. If you are a music lover you will simply enjoy traveling down the “Fond Memories” Lane with us! Fond Memories is an all-volunteer group that performs at Nursing Homes, Senior Centers, Assisted Living Facilities, and a variety of venues in the area to share the true universal language that is music. For additional information on our group, please visit our Facebook page Vocal Group Fond Memories, or www.vgfondmemories.com.
